CHAPTER 7 BANKRUPTCY FILING AT FOR THE PEOPLE
For the People is a debt relief agency. We help people file for relief under the Bankruptcy Code. We are Bankruptcy Petition Preparers and can assist in preparing the paperwork for Chapter 7 Bankruptcy filings.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
Our fee is $349.00 and includes us preparing all of the necessary documents for a Chapter 7 Bankruptcy filing, a credit report from one of the three major credit reporting agencies, and registering you through Springboard Non-Profit Consumer Credit Counseling for the two mandatory consumer credit counseling sessions.
There will be a separate filing fee payable directly to the Bankruptcy Court and is due at the time of filing your documents with the court. You will also be responsible for the fees for the mandatory consumer credit counseling sessions. Please call our office to get more specific information on these additional fees.
